WOW! Can you believe how gorgeous Charlie Brown is (aka Humphrey)- see pictures below. If you can remember back in early July, Charlie came back to the shelter in a neglected state. He was adopted by someone who ended up dumping him at a neighboring shelter. Thank goodness they realized he originally came from the Marion Animal Shelter and called to let us know. He was missing a significant amount of hair (see top pictures). Well... less than 2 months later with a little antibiotics, Neem Oil shampoo, and some TLC from our doggy angel, Teresa, just look at Charlie now! He is GORGEOUS! Charlie will be starting heartworm treatment soon and before long, he will be ready for adoption. If you are interested in this sweet boy, please let us know. He adores playing fetch with his favorite ball and will certainly make a great family companion. This success story should make you think twice before you pass up a dog that may not look "perfect" right now. Sometimes it just takes an angel to give them a chance!
