GREAT NEWS FROM WISCONSIN!
We received news from the Rescue Group in Wisconsin that saved 24 of our dogs! This is the latest:
"We now have sent 11 of the puppies, Lil Lady, Jasmine, Sophie, Dexter, Blossom, and Yoda home. Natalie and Peanut have adoptions pending. So just one puppy, Avery (who may be adopted by one of the ladies who came down), Candy, Opie, Quigley, and Gracie left. And they are all doing really well in their foster homes..."
They are even talking about coming down in June to help more of our pups (cross your fingers and paws!). Thanks Emily and Crew! We hope to see you soon! We'll post pictures of updates as we receive them.

YARD SALE ALERT! SAVE THE DATE.
PAWS will be holding a yard sale to raise needed funds for our rescued pups. Please join us on:
Saturday, June 6, 2009
7:00 a.m. - ???
1001 Rich Road in West Memphis
As always, we are in urgent need of vet funds (our vet bills are extremely high currently). As it is now puppy season - we are also in dire need of puppy formula which is very expensive ($11.00/day for a litter of 6 puppies - see http://petsworthsaving.blogspot.com/2009/05/puppy-overload.html) and puppy kibble for weaned pups.
If you would like to donate items to the Yard Sale, please contact Lisa Britton: 901-826-0292.
Thank you so much for supporting our rescue efforts!

MEET NEWBIE EWING!
Ewing needs a foster home- can you help him out? He is about 6-7 months and is very shy. He needs to work on basic doggy things like walking on a leash and overall socialization. That way Ewing can have a better chance of being adopted. Please call Joan at 870-739-1145 or Allison at 901-240-9848 if you can help this sweet boy!
FUN DAY AT PETCO!
Well there wasn't a huge crowd at PETCO Sunday (everyone was apparently enjoying the gorgeous weather outside), nevertheless, everyone had a great time! We even had some canine visitors from West Memphis, Arkansas. We took alot of pictures of our "stars", so we'll post them separately below! We wanted to thank our volunteers/foster moms and dads for helping out during the event including Leanne, Joan, Allison, Kevin, Melissa, and Jeanne. A big thanks to Barbara and the employees at Petco for letting us bring our babies!
PRECIOUS EILEEN TRIED TO FIND A HOME TOO!
Eileen is such a cute young pup! You can see her little tongue hanging out most of the time- sooo adorable! Eileen is about 6-7 months old and looking for a place to call home! She would make a great lap buddy!
ANGEL ALISSA STILL NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!
Alissa was such an angel the entire time. She is just a sweet young girl who longs for a place to call home (at least a permanent place). Her foster mom, Melissa has nothing but nice things to say about this gal. Won't you please give her a chance?
JOHNNY WAS SUCH A GOOD BOY!
Johnny was the perfect gentleman at Petco. He stayed quietly in his crate and waited for anyone to offer him a home...or at least show an interest. Poor baby is still waiting. Johnny is just a sweet, goofy boy who would love to be with you. Look at that precious face- don't you want a great companion?
SWEET TUX LOVIN' THE ATTENTION!
Tux practiced his charm before leaving for Petco! This boy LOVED the attention from shoppers who stopped by. Come on folks- can't you find it in your heart to give this boy a loving home?
