HELP SOPHIA: NEEDS A NEW FOSTER HOME ASAP!

Oh little Sophia...she just can't seem to get along with a female Cocker Spaniel in her foster home. She gets along very well with the family's 6 year old male Lab and 1 year old male mix breed. However, it is too difficult to separate her from the female dog and it is not fair for her to stay in her crate so much. Her foster mom said that she adores people and does great with children (she lives with a 5, 10, and 12 year old). In addition, she loves to chase all kinds of things (e.g., flies and other bugs, tennis balls, etc) and enjoys playing tug-of-war. Sophia is doing fantastic with crate training as well.

She would do best in an active household (she'd make a great jogging partner) and perhaps a home with only male dogs. Her foster mom said she could possibly be an only dog, but would definitely have to be a part of the family and receive lots of affection (she apparently thrives on it). Sophia can jump 4-5 feet in the air (quite a feat for such a petite little girl)... agility classes??? Well who knows...but because she is such an athlete, she would need a secure wooden fence for potty breaks (chain link probably would not work with her).

If you can find it in your heart to foster this sweet girl so she doesn't have to go back to the shelter, please call Allison at 901-240-9848 right away! Please hurry- she is running out of options!

Just look at that cute face!
