Some of you remember Iris - A sweet Golden Mix who came to our shelter pregnant. All of her pups were adopted, but nobody stepped up to take Iris - Until Rick Fish came along...Rick runs a boarding facility in Texas. He drove all the way to Marion upon reading Iris's plight, took her back to his kennel, treated her for heartworm and found her a WONDERFUL home.Here is the latest update from Rick:
Thought you'd like to see a picture of Iris taken today. She was boarding at our kennel this weekend and managed to quit licking me long enough to have her picture taken with St. Francis.She is the light of her new family's life, and has given a lift to the spirits of her new brother "Chester," an elderly Basset Hound.
