We are very saddened by the loss of sweet Dudley on Thursday, April 24th. Dudley was taken to the vet because he had stopped eating and just didn't seem to feel well. Within a day or two (after medications of course), he took a turn for the worse. According to the vet, Dudley passed away most likely due to heartworm disease. He was given a blood transfusion and was about to receive a second transfusion.
We wanted to thank Jessica and her family for providing him with so much love. Although he only lived with them for a few months, Dudley was able to know the kindess of people, tons of love and affection, and the comfort of a real "home". God bless foster homes really. Please keep your dogs on heartworm preventative all year round. If Dudley's original owners had spent around $10 a month, he would likely be alive today. A big thank you to Dr. G and staff for trying so hard to help our sweet boy. Dudley has quite a large vet bill if you would like to make a donation in his memory.
