UPDATED PICTURES OF MOJO!

Mojo is absolutely gorgeous! He is such a unique/striking boy in person. Mojo is doing so well with his foster mom, Teresa. If anyone is looking for a pair of wonderful dogs to adopt, Mojo and his buddy, Lucie, would be a great choice since they enjoy romping and playing together! Mojo LOVES to fetch a ball/toys. He is still looking for his forever home. Call Allison at 901-240-9848 if you'd like to meet this hunk!

UPDATED PICS OF LUCIE (WITH MOJO)

Awww sweet Lucie! We almost had Lucie adopted by one of her foster mom's friends, but it just didn't come to pass. Lucie is living happily with her foster mom, Teresa, and her favorite playmate, Mojo (also available for adoption). She is a happy gal who is a little shy with new people. Lucie loves her treats which makes her a great student (she did great in obedience training too- just needs a little refining and some more opportunities for socialization)! Call Allison at 901-240-9848 to find out more about this precious girl!

UPDATE ON KADE & KIANI!

CHECK OUT THESE GREAT PICS OF KADE & KIANI IN THEIR FOSTER HOME!

Kade and Kiani are doing great in their foster home, but they are still hoping to find the perfect home! What do they wish for? A home with lots of love and affection. A home where they can sleep indoors, but hang out outside in the fenced in yard as well. Ideally, they would live in a cooler climate, but as long as they stay together they will be happy. Here is some more information from an update provided by their foster mom, Melanie:

"Well...let's see...They continue to remain bonded. Kade is very social with the other dogs and Kiani is much more reserved. She does play with the other dogs but on her own terms. She is never aggressive. Kade is never aggressive...they are content to lounge in the shade or in the grass when it is sunny. They prefer cooler temperatures. I have a big covered back porch and they have a favorite corner where they like to hang out and watch everything...even when it is raining...they love it. They are great leash walkers. They love to walk on a leash. Kade loves to ride in my car...They are so loveable and loyal, they deserve the best!"

Please call Allison at 901-240-9848 if you'd like to find out more about these precious dogs or would like to meet them.

CHECK OUT SWEET WILLIE NOW!

*GREAT NEWS! WILLIE IS GOING TO HIS FOREVER HOME NOVEMBER 9th! WE WILL POST PICTURES IN HIS NEW HOME SOON!

It's hard to believe that Willie looked like this 3 months ago and is this gorgeous now! This is why we do "rescue". Without dedicated foster homes/volunteers and sponsors, dogs like Willie would have no chance. Willie is one incredibly lucky dog to have been found by a good samaritan and then dropped off at the Animal Emergency Center when our wonderful vet happened to be working. Doc saw the potential in this boy and literally saved him from being put to sleep by calling PAWS of Marion.

Willie is still hoping for a place to call "home" so please spread the word. He promises to be a fantastic companion if you just give him a chance. Please call Allison at 901-240-9848 if you'd like to meet this special guy.

We would LOVE to continue to help dogs like Willie, but we are in dire need of support. Financial support has dwindled significantly due to the recession and we can no longer even pay our minimum payments. In addition, very few foster homes exist and the few families that are fostering are completely overwhelmed. If you would PLEASE consider donating even a small amount, we would certainly appreciate it. Our "material" wish list at this time includes: Igloo Dog houses (urgent), blankets, dog food (Purina, Pedigree or better quality), and stainless steel bowls (no tip or "puppy bowls" would be fabulous). A dream would be to find more temporary foster homes and groups to help with fundraising!

Thank you to all of our current sponsors who have literally saved so many precious lives. We are humbled by your generosity in this difficult time.

URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR DAISY!

HELP!!! We have an emergency foster need for Daisy. Daisy and her siblings were originally from the shelter. The foster family decided to adopt her as a young pup, but now cannot keep her due to a family situation. This is urgent! We do not have any room in any of our foster homes and don't want Daisy to end up at a shelter. PLEASE someone take her in for a little while. Daisy gets along well with other dogs, is crate and house-trained, good with children, active and playful, etc. She is about 10 months old and weighs 45 pounds. Daisy is a great family dog! Please call Allison at 901-240-9848 or Lisa at 901-826-0292 if you can help!

WISCONSIN ANGELS SAVE 17 MORE!

On October 11th, 2 wonderful rescue volunteers from Wisconsin, Nicole and Tim, drove all the way here to save 17 more dogs and puppies! Nicole is the co-founder for the rescue group who is saving so many of our precious lives and Tim is her very understanding hubby (and wonderful helper as well)! Emma, Ella, Zoey and her 4 puppies, Ed, Wolfie, and Scooter were just a few of the lucky ones (pictured below). 7 of the dogs/puppies have already been adopted and some have adoptions pending!
