CHECK BACK REAL SOON- MORE PUPS!

Please bear with us as we update all the new arrivals (there are at least 9 more puppies to post and some adults too!). Since we work on a volunteer basis, it takes a bit to take on this task! We also have updates on some of our sweeties that found forever homes up north. Be sure to check older posts because many of the dogs are still available for adoption! Better yet...come by the shelter and take a look! We could use some more volunteers to help with pictures, posting dogs in need, and transporting to the vet for spaying/neutering and other medical treatments (many other tasks too if these don't suit you). MEET FRED AND GINGER!

What an adorable pair these two are! Meet Fred and Ginger! They were found wandering a busy street and are really sad that no one has come to get them! Look at their precious faces- don't they deserve a chance? Both of them need doggy angels because they both tested positive for heartworms. They need sponsor funds as well as a foster home (even better, an adoptive home). Please help them!

MEET MISS ANNABELLE!

Oh my goodness...what a doll! This is Annabelle! She is just a puppy (about 3 months old) and just a tiny little thing. Annabelle was abandoned at a gas station recently. She is a very loving puppy and adores being cuddled. She gets so excited to get out of her crate and enjoys running and playing. Annabelle needs a foster home ASAP! As most people know, puppies don't fare well in shelter because they can be exposed to all sorts of illnesses. Could you possibly keep her for just a bit while we find her the perfect home???

MEET OWNER SURRENDERED SASHA

Bad news...another owner surrender. This is Sasha. She is a gorgeous young Shepherd mix that longs for a family to love her forever! Sasha loves to be around people and would do best in a family where someone is home much of the time. She has been on heartworm preventative and is just about housetrained according to her owner (she will go to the door). Please think about fostering her temporarily.

MEET PRECIOUS ANDY

Ok folks, Andy is so scared in the shelter. Andy appears to be a Dachshund mix of some kind, but we're not real sure. He was found wandering in someone's backyard trying to make friends with their dog! If you know who he belongs to call us as soon as possible. In the meantime, could someone help him out by fostering him? Andy isn't very big, so he won't be a bother!

MEET CHOCOLATE DREAM, HUMPHREY!

Ok...he may not be food, but he is absolutely scrumptious! This is Humphrey! He was abandoned at the shelter tied to a post. He is a sweet Chocolate Lab Mix and is about 3 years old. Could you show Humphrey what it's like to have a forever home??? If so, please call Joan at 870-739-1145 because the shelter is full!

ANOTHER PIT IN NEED: SASSY

Poor Sassy was left in a storage area and was living in unsanitary conditions. Thankfully, she's at least being cared for now. What is really missing though, is TLC (she could sure use some). Please hurry and come to the shelter to help her!

A PIT IN NEED: REMY

Remy was found with several other dogs apparently bothering someone's horse! He has an injured rear leg (the vet's did not find any broken bones, so they said it might just be a torn muscle). Remy is taking pain medication. What a sweetheart this boy is! He needs someone to step up ASAP because the shelter is full!
