MEET NEWBIE: ADDIE

Addie is a unique looking mix breed who needs a savior. Imagine that, another stray dog in the area! Oh my, she deserves so much more. Addie appears to be a senior and is a very sweet natured girl. She is not very big...well not very tall that is! Please give her a chance!

Poor Grover has lived at the shelter since June. He really is out of time. If you met him, you would fall in love with him. He is gentle and appears to love affection from everyone (adults and children). Grover is getting very stressed in the shelter and is starting to lose his hair. If there is any way you could foster him until we could find a permament home, you would truly be a Doggy Angel!

MEET NEWBIE MOBEY: WHAT A DOLL!

Meet Mobey: This has to be one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet (really). He obviously needs some TLC (groceries and some attention to his poor fly bitten ears). Unfortunately, he was picked up in a neighboring town and does not have very long. Even worse, he tested positive for heartworms. He needs a doggy angel immediately! Please help this kind and gentle soul.

HOORAY FOR IRIS

Thanks to her Doggy Angel, Rick, Iris is well on her way to a fantastic life. Rick drove all the way from Austin, Texas to save this girl's life! We can't thank him enough for his efforts on Iris' behalf- she certainly tugged at our heartstrings too! We also want to thank the kind supporters of our shelter, who sponsored Iris' Heartworm Treatment. Rick was pleased to have the funds to help with Iris' medical needs. She has been through so much and deserves a wonderful life!

Here is the first update from Rick and Iris:

My Golden, Rocket and Iris and I made it home to Texas just about 11 pm. At 650 miles, it's pretty much a 12-hour drive however you cut it - with dog-walking interspersed with driving. I'm going to give her a day to recover from the drive before we go to the vet to see about heartworm treatment,Right now she's enjoying the run of the house and nudging me gently for more pats while I'm trying to type this.She was a wonderful traveler, is one of the sweetest creatures on four legs, and is a dream to walk on a leash. Quite a gal, Miss Iris. Thanks for helping her to get here.

POOR ANDY NEEDS A DOGGY ANGEL

Poor Andy needs help! He was found at a construction home site in pretty poor condition (covered in fleas, full of worms, extremely thin). He needs a doggy angel to take him out of the shelter so he can get the care he needs. Just look at those gorgeous eyes! Please hurry!

ELLIOT HAS FOUND A FOREVER HOME

Gorgeous Elliot has found a forever family! We are so excited for him. Thanks to everyone who made it possible for Elliot to find such a wonderful family!

MEET NEWBIE CLARA: DO YOU KNOW ME???

This is our latest arrival, Clara (at least that's her name for now). It is too early to adopt her, but we wanted to post her picture in the hopes that someone will recognize her. Clara looks alot like Meghan too! She is a calm and gentle girl who loves affection. Please call Joan if you know who she belongs to.

NEW PICS OF BRODY

Brody is such a handsome young boy and we cannot believe that no one has shown an interest in him! We have new pictures of him to show how gorgeous he is! Brody will need some training, but will make a fabulous pet for someone!

CALLIE HAS A FOSTER HOME!

Thanks to doggy angel, Rene, Callie has found safety for now. Rene and her husband are fostering her, but she is still available for adoption.
